Accessibility Statement for RT3 Automotive Racing LLC

 

RT3-AR is dedicated to making our racing community and online presence accessible to everyone. Our commitment to accessibility reflects both the State of Iowa’s Website Accessibility Standard and the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

 

Standards We Follow

  • We design and maintain our website to comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

  • We also honor Iowa’s statewide standard based on WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA.

  • Where possible, we aim to exceed minimum requirements to provide a better experience for all.

 

Our Efforts

  • Accessible Design: New pages and features are built with accessibility in mind from the start.

  • Regular Testing: Our site is tested for compatibility with assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard navigation.

2. Contractual Accessibility Agreement (for developers, vendors, or partners)

RT3 Automotive Racing LLC - Website Accessibility Agreement

This Accessibility Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between RT3 - Automotive Racing LLC (“RT3-AR”).

[Contractor] Past & Present Tense

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Agreement is to ensure that any website, digital service, or online platform developed, maintained, or modified by Contractor on behalf of RT3-AR complies with applicable accessibility laws and standards.

 

2. Standards of Compliance

Contractor shall:

  • Ensure all work complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

  • Where applicable, comply with the State of Iowa Website Accessibility Standard, based on WCAG 2.0 Levels A and AA, as required by Iowa Administrative Code 11-25.9 and Iowa Code 8B.21.

  • Incorporate accessibility into all phases of design, development, testing, and content production.

 

3. Responsibilities of Contractor

  • Conduct accessibility testing, including use of assistive technologies.

  • Remediate identified issues within reasonable timeframes at no additional cost.

  • Provide documentation verifying accessibility compliance upon request.

 

4. Responsibilities of RT3-AR

  • Provide Contractor with access to content, branding, and technical resources as needed.

  • Review and approve accessibility deliverables in a timely manner.

  • Notify Contractor of any accessibility complaints or requests received from users.

 

5. Variances

In the event full compliance with accessibility standards is impractical, Contractor shall request a written waiver from RT3-AR, including a plan for providing accessible alternatives.

 

6. Indemnification

Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RT3-AR from any claims, damages, or costs arising from Contractor’s failure to comply with accessibility requirements.

 

7. Term & Termination

This Agreement remains in effect for the duration of Contractor’s engagement with RT3-AR.

RT3-AR may terminate this Agreement if Contractor fails to meet the stated accessibility obligations.
